Studio 5: Building and Site Analysis

Objective: Both the building and specific site are vital elements to consider during the programming
phase of design. The location can significantly impact decisions when you are evaluating programmatic requirements, as well as the building’s orientation on its site. Existing building conditions also provide a constraint on programmatic requirements in regards to what the building selected will and won’t allow (Totten, Syllabus, 2013).
